A Moment Between Two Swings – A Glimpse Frome 12 Years Ago
On 2025-05-25 by shahins7_shahin3744Twelve years ago, under the shade of an old oak tree in the Zagros Mountains of Ilam, I captures two little girls sitting on handmade swings, preparing for play. Their family stood quietly in the background, the light soft and golden as they shared what seemed to be their last quiet words before laughter. in the next frame, they had begun to spin-ropes tangled, giggles swirling in the air.
today, I wonder: are they mothers now? Do they remember that afternoon? This pair of image has become more than a memory-it’s a question about time, change, and the invisible thread between past and present.
The oak tree might still be there. The swings, perhaps long gone. But the spirit of that moment remains.
